   Attend McLennan Community College fulltime majoring in Criminal Justice-Law Enforcement.  I graduated the McLennan Community College Law Enforcement Academy in December of 2005 with my Basic Peace Officer certification. I am a deputy sheriff with the McLennan County Sheriff’s Office and also work part-time for the Sheriff’s Office as an assistant in the Criminal Investigations Unit-Crime Scene Division, I also work for a private security company, Paladin Investigation and Security as a security guard in low-income housing projects in both Waco and south Dallas.  I work for the Heart of Texas Auto Auction as well

Fall 2005: Sports editor for The Oklahoma Daily, the student paper at the University of Oklahoma.

Summer 2006:  copy editing internship, The San Diego Union-Tribune.

Spring 2006/ Fall 2007:  Studying abroad at the University of Valencia in Valencia, Spain.

   Well, I finally decided to major in Statistics at Baylor. This is the first year they have offered statistics for undergrads, so I am currently one of the two in the department. I also got engaged on Easter to my wonderful boyfriend of 3(almost 4) years, Scott Wiseman. We’ll be getting married when we both graduate, which will be around December 2008. I still take pictures on my spare time.

I just started my 3^rd year at Midwestern State University.  I am applying to pharmacy school this year and if all goes as planned I will start at Tech (in Amarillo) or UT Austin next fall!  I just got hired at  a Christian bookstore called Mardel and my first day is tomorrow!  Life is good!

Sara Schumacher

   I’ve graduated from Grapevine High School and am now attending the University of Missouri at Columbia as a journalism major. I am a National Merit Finalist. I am also a Walter Williams Scholar here at Mizzou. For the past year and half (before I moved to Columbia), I have worked at the Southlake Kumon as a math grader—Kumon being a sort of supplemental education center (based in Japan) for math and reading. The Southlake Kumon is the largest center in North America. (www.kumon.com)

   I just began my sophomore year at Texas Lutheran University and I am loving it!  I came to TLU with the dream of someday going into newspaper or magazine writing, but in the spring of 2006 I began work on a public relations minor, and now I really hope to do something with that.  I now plan on going to graduate school and getting my masters degree in business from Georgetown University, Rice University, or Texas A&M University. 

   I made the dean’s list in the spring of 2005, and I am currently in the process of pledging Alpha Kappa Psi, which is a national business fraternity.
