Congratulations to the Midway Varsity Players for the following honors in 2009! Fifteen players were recognized as All-District, including the District Defensive MVP, District Newcomer of the Year, five on the 1st Team, five on the 2nd Team, and three Honorable Mentions. In addition, four players were selected to the Waco Tribune-Herald Super-Centex Team. Perhaps most impressive of all, eight players were Academic All-State selections!

In Addition to the players, Coach Tim O'Leary was selected the Super-Centex Coach of the year!
